I am so confused by this thread

I am really kind of squicked out by this (probably intended as light-hearted?) comment about boys - and I would’ve let this slide, but I am instantly reminded of something I’ve read a couple days ago; a woman on a BDSM forum referred to topping a guy and doing humiliation play with him and said she “felt empowered”. Ugh. No. No.

I am rather outspoken about my opposition to kink-shaming - but I *will* protest, or at least raise an eyebrow, every time someone associates fantasies and consensual, in-scene stuff with any sort of ~progressive~ politics. Precisely because my kinks are, like, the opposite - and the implication feels very threatening to me.

If there is anything inherently ~feminist~ or ~empowering~ about femdom/msub, this also logically implies that I and many decent people like me are freaks, woman-haters, pro-rape, etc.
